Yeah honestly u do need a hand clutch on a 50. But most people dont have one, because they feel there is no need for one...=-)

They think that since they can wheelie a 50, then they should be able to wheelie the big bike and it be about the same. Except they forgot the part where u had to slip the clutch (with ur hand) and then instantly find the rear HB with that same hand afterwards, LoL..........Having BOTH of those on a 50 will make your life alot better when it comes to the big bike for sure....=-)

Re: pics of the everyones 50s

Word! thanks guys! I didn't even know if ANY of them had clutches. i guess I'll just wait till i replace the motor in this one, then switch to a clutch (levered) engine/tranny combo.

And thanx for the must have list ReSpect. that's fuggin crazy though bro! the only bike of mine that'll see a G Note is the RR!

Re: pics of the everyones 50s

you dont 'need' a clutch on a 50, you can stall it out with the stock auto clutch

personally though soon as I can afford one, I'm going with a billet manual clutch.. But I want one for dirt riding!

Re: pics of the everyones 50s

She is a little on the used and abused side but for $400 she cleans up pretty nice.

notice my customs kickstand...its an exhaust pipe off my buddie's pocket rocket. It just slides inside the peg

Homemade pegs.

my custom kickstand holder...and my rigged up killswitch.

The U.S.S. Fiddy Transport

It's a VERY tricky and tight fit.

Ok she is finally here!!!!! Went to the Spot friday with my mentor and learned wheelies! Yo that **** is hard mainly because I have to yank the handle bar! I can pop it but cant ride the wheelie yet...I guess practice makes perfect...my shoulders and back are so sore today... We had lots of fun tho...broke my front lever but its all good I replaced it with a better one for like 15$ bucks and did it myself!! its black so it matches better. Now that its fixed I can learn stoppies...I think I want to invest in a rear brake at the front because since those bikes are built for kids the foot rear brake is too close to the peg..I think it would be easier to just grab it with my hand...and I also want stunt pegs...it may be easier for me to ride the wheelie standing up for balance as my butt tends to fall off when i reach 11 o'clock...LOL...I think I read on here that BMX pegs can do ...they are like 10$ at Canadian Tire so that sounds good to me...

Will keep you updated on my progress...

Re: pics of the everyones 50s

get yourself some street tires. i found it way easyier to control the bike from going side to side. it doubled the distance i could hold wheelies up for on the first day with them!
