is there any difference between the crf and the xr 50's? i'm thinking of picking one up from craigslist but don't know if i should get the crf or the xr. and if buying a use one, what should i look for before buying it? thanks in advance...

They are the same except plastics and other small things that don't make a bit of difference. All parts will bolt up to either machine.

lol.. look to see if the frame or rims are bent and that it runs..

if it runs then it will run forever, no matter what you do to it

+1 I've seized my motor 5 times overheating it, and now it smokes a little. But it purrs like a kitten!!! LOL
