Re: crf50/chinese...how to tell?
SEARCH NOOB! hahah jk, you can check the stator and clutch covers, those can always be replaced though but its a sign, plus it'll say on the pink slip. either way i'll most likely be there with you when you pick it up, hah.
Re: crf50/chinese...how to tell?
The neck on frame will have a black sticker stating honda and what year . Also the neck will have a vin # stamped onto frame (17 digits i think) . Every piece of plastic will have a honda stamp in mold (inner sides) . Muffler is stamped honda . Gas tank stamped honda on bottom . Swingarm should have a black honda sticker . The airbox vent box going to engine on left side will be stamped honda . Side of seat marked honda . Honda emblem on triple clamp for handlebars . Ignition key marked honda . Left side engine cover marked honda . Stock carb is Keihin Japan stamped . Engine Head is marked EC-3 HMGK4 . Cylinder marked 49cm3 and painted black . Left side engine case stamped AE03E-xxxxxxx (near kickstand) . Some states will have an actual title with bike .
