Re: is it easy to wheelie?

Just cause its a kid bike dont mean its easy, just more forgiving than a big bike. But like stunting a big bike it takes seat time. I can tell you that your not gonna get on it and be rocking h/c o's off the bat.

Re: is it easy to wheelie?

Like dude said earlier. You can get it to wheelie if it's not even running. Just yank it up. Once it's off the ground, you're on your own.

Re: is it easy to wheelie?

When I first started I could not pop it up in 2nd even after hour upon hour of practise. Pissed me off no end. After fitting an 88, I could spend ALL my time learning to ride the b/p. Came on leaps and bounds after that, now scraping.

Getting 88 worked for me m8:YEAH

All you have to do is give it a little bounce and lean back.

I especially enjoy the full throttle shift into second and trying to catch it with the rear brake.

Re: is it easy to wheelie?

I new I should not have hit that submit button. I should have said that I did ask on here and took the advice, watched vids, got fiddy ***, broke my foot, bounced it, yanked it, flipped it, had a go at clutch it up(not keen on that one). It became an obsession. So yea man I cheated!! But it was 1 less thing to learn and now I have no problems. Just saying I found it easier and quicker to learn with an 88

Re: is it easy to wheelie?

I have a defect called retardation so it took me a looooong time to figure out how to ride a controled wheelie on a 50. I always tried to throttle it like a street bike.

Re: is it easy to wheelie?

If you time your throttle just right with a lean back, anybody can wheelie. You just have to time it right. For instance, my throttle doesn't kick in until about .5-1 seconds after I turn the throttle... that when you lean back.

2nd gear is easier for learning. I still have to yank the **** out of it to get a 1st gear wheelie going.

Re: is it easy to wheelie?

What he said. Hold the throttle down in second and when you feel it kick then pull and lean back and it will come up easily. Also remember that the slower you are going the easier it will come up but you will also loop easier if you are a noob. Just start slow and get comfortable before you start pulling hard.

Re: is it easy to wheelie?

Just like everyone else is saying, just lean back and give it some throttle, pull a little on the bars each time until you get it to a good balancing point then become comfortable with that point, worked for me.

The Farther back u sit on seat the easier it is. If ur sittin right behind the gas tank its tough, sit right before the rear fender!!

Re: is it easy to wheelie?

Start dragging both legs on the ground and pop it up on first and get the feel of the balance point where you can keep your front wheel up. From there once you get the feel of the wheelie and the bp, you can try and yahnk it up on 2nd but always have your foot on the rear brakes . Try first gear and it will guarantee pop up with both feet dragging if you worry too much about falling on your ***...
