Re: whats the best mods!!

change the sprockets and just get an 88cc motor or bigger. i have the BBR 88 kit in mine and it hits 40mph plus its super easy to pull up but you dont have much for 1st gear wheelies and slow stuff is a little difficult. i also suggest the rear handbrake from 50 stunt.

Rev limiters seem worthless too dont waste your money.

oh yeah. try to stay away from the 12 bar on ebay with the C clamps it bends the **** out of your hollow subframe. i had someone weld some steel plates to reinforce mine and custom made me a 12 bar that unbolts.

Turboglenn 12bar, trail bikes 88kit, Joker tall boy bar kit, IRC street tires, stiffer front and rear springs, 50 stunt advanced rear hand brake and stunt pegs a. Eventually you'll want to change the shift lever and foot brake extension. I built one ground up for $700 with everything but thats waiting on dirt cheap deals. My main 50 I have close to $3g's in it with the price of the bike but it's purdy lol. Once you start building them you won't stop though. 50's are addictive

No truer words have been spoken.

springs are a must for sure. trailbikes makes great stuff too my dude has a TB 88cc kit in his and its awesome.
folding shift levers are nice, i even dropped $65 each for 2 ASV folding levers for my brake levers. ill have to get pics up soon. you can use 10in scooter tires too they squeel like hell doin burnouts and chainsaws and last FOREVER.
tall seats are a lot more comfortable.

50stunt.com is a good start
BBRmotorsports.com is sweet too.

Re: whats the best mods!!

I have been racing 50's since i started to get big around 2001 2002. Depending on what your riding on. A sprocket will do about as much as a pipe does. Get a Hpyer Ignition, there sweet. They work even better with bigger motors. I dont have as much fun dickin around on my bikes with clutches because its to much like a regular bike. Get some springs, big bar kit is a must. And a skid plate! Dont trash your motor if your on the woods. Tires are huge difference on dirt. It depends on what your really tryin to do. If you want to race, recently at Summit Arenacross 2 guys showed up with 195cc kits cramed in a 50 frame. When your putting close to 30 h.p. into a frame that comes with 3 h.p. your talking thou$and$ of dollar$.

Re: whats the best mods!!

PM turboglenn on fiddylife or planetminis and he'll hook you up with a bar. Hondatrailbikes.com for the bore kit and CDI, fasterminis.com has some good deals sometimes and ebay store asvinventions for levers. I run asv levers on mine too and love them. Before asv I went thru a lever a week or so. You can get the tires on ebay as well. Check out pitposse.com for whatever else.

Check out BMC on fiddylife. They are a 50stunt team in Orlando. If your ever up in the panhandle swing through Fort Walton. We ride every weekend (big and lil bikes).

50 stunt.com has everything you need!! 88cc kit is the way to go for power, don't waste your $$ on pipes and carbs, just step up the cc's with a stock pipe and youll be lovin it! Here's my bike, fully loaded.

Re: whats the best mods!!

a must have is the extended rear brake linkage!!! you dont really need a big bore kit unless you want to go crazy fast AND pick up speed really quick. if you want speed, just change the gearing

Re: whats the best mods!!

I knew I forgot someone! Sorry Ryan! 50stunt has you covered for most everything but I prefer the t-glenn 12 bar. But you won't find better service than 50stunt. Fast shipping and is there to answer questions if you need him. I got the street and stunt pegs, adv rear hb, extended front brake arm, and all the quick adjust ***** from there. I'll post pics later.

just starting out the stock 50 is more than enough to wheelie as far as your heart disires and will do burnouts wit little coaxing
but if you must for $250 you can get the tc88 complete package (includes cam piston gaskets and even the race head with 25/22mm valves (witch should flow like a bitch on the 88) and should take you to about 5.5-6hp witch is about 2x the stock power
or just the tc88 kit with piston and gaskets (uses all other stock componets but jug must be honed) and is only like $60 and should give you about 4-4.5 hp on a stock engine (about a 50% improvement) and should be sufficient for all but the best stunters that need the power to get up to 45-50mph to do 200+foot rolling stoppies and rolling burnouts on street tires (but if you are that adiment for more power just get yourself a 146cc lifan big valve engine off of ebay for 250 with about 12-13hp and a manual trans (much more power better suited for mx not stunting)
