Stunt Bike Pit Bike Question

Hey, so I wanted to get a CRF50 to start messing around on. I messed around on my 2000 R6 (wheelies and stoppies) and never dropped it, but now I have a brand new 2007 GSXR750 and dont want to risk dropping it. Now CRF50 are $$$ and they are semi-auto but I want something with a clutch. I have seen these 2 particular pit bikes that have almost identicle plastics as the CRF50s and was wondering if the aftermarket stuff for a CFR50 would work on these pit bikes too?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LIFAN...em180199800446

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/125CC...em350011221657

They have a 4spd w/clutch and a 125cc motor. So all I would need is stunt pegs, a big bar kit, and I want a 12 bar. Now does anyone know if the CRF50 stuff would fit on either of those? I am trying to go the cheap route on here. I know cheap isn't always the best but what do you guys think?

Thanks,
Phil

Re: Stunt Bike Pit Bike Question

some CRF50 stuff will work, im a big chinese pit bike guy and the second one on your list is your best bet, ive built those with 50 stun Footepegs and street tires and used them as motard bike to get them too and from work... they feel like riding a CRF450 motarded out or a DRZ400 but they are obviously on a smaller scale... ever ridden a bigdirt bike then a really small one???

the 12 bar will fit but i have never gorilla scraped them on a bike that tall, big drop!

Re: Stunt Bike Pit Bike Question

Hi bud. I bought on of these well an Evo 140 (same ****). Which I use to practise stunt. Bars are ok as they are I have gone -1 on fwd sprk, street tyres. I ignored some others and fitted a 12 bar after 2nd flip. I bought 3 lengths of flat stock and bend and welded to subframe. It works a treat and gives me more confidence. I would also advice fitting a hydraulic clutch lever for the price they are sooo much easier on your hand. As for a cage, forget it, there is no lower frame to fix onto. If you can't straighten the damage out with a crow bar, then replace. The spare parts are so cheap. For the aft pegs I ended up buying general after markets and drilling these into swinging arm, double up bolt with 2x50mm penny washers. Just my experiance bud, go for it.

Re: Stunt Bike Pit Bike Question

You can build a sick Honda 50 with a bore and stunt everything from the ground up for 1g. You just have to be patient and check the forums for good deals
