Re: anyone have a Yamaha TTR50?

i have ttr...they are the same thing as a xr/cr. if your just gonna do minor mods like bars, hd springs & unifilter/jet...there is nothing wrong with a ttr. however, if you thnk there maybe any chance of you wanting to do anything else aftermarket, go with a honda. my point is, aside from the generic "one size fits all" aftermarket stuff, there is virtually NOTHING available for the ttr and the little **** thats available is WICKED EXPENSIVE. the aftermarket is much more in support of the honda fiddys, there is a plethora of **** for the hondas and they are way less expensive than **** for the ttr.

most of the yamaha stuff is GYTR and that costs an arm and a leg! I bought my honda all hooked up and it was totally worth it. I just fixed some minor stuff on it and rode.

I was going to get a ttr 50 to keep the garage all yamaha till I got to the dealer to pick it up and found out the ttr 50 weighed a ton more than the Honda.. So crf 50 it was and I don't regret it at all..
