After some dude crashed by 50 and bent my front forks I thought I would make over the entire bike while I waited for the new parts to come in.

-Painted frame -black
-Painted swing arm -black
-Painted accesories -White

-New brake controls
-New grips
-New plastics
-Vinyl graphics
-50 stunt rear brake lever thingy
-New forks/springs.....

Dude! that looks sick! I like the front number plate with the handicap sign, and throttle trauma graphics! Are those custome graphics?

 

If you go to this site here http://tengu.ca This is my friends site and I got the images from him, I layed the graphics out on a template of the 50's plastics and made the design from his work.

So yes it is custom art work.

Sick! can't wait to see it! mine is all fixed and ready to go, and I got an air cast for my foot, so maby next weekend i'll be able to walk, or at least ride

 

very nice, but your hb line is mounted wrong, it should go into the lower position and the footbrake in upper spot. Also the extended brake arm works awsome on the front brake, But I think the stock one works better on the rear, than an extended does.

 

Is it mounted wrong? The brake is stil very weak, I will switch it up and hopefuly it gives me a little bit more grab on the rear.

Does the extended arm work better on the front? I havent noticed much of a difference with it on the rear. I will give it a shot.

shoulda powder coated though, that paint will look like **** in a couple months

 

For the rear do the brake pad mod... take the pads out and take the lower pad and grind off a 1/8inch off the part of the pad that the twisty thing applies pressure to (know what I mean?), that lets the top pad hit 1st when you apply the brakes... then use a proper clutch lever from a big bike (a 636 lever is what I got) and you'll be able to lock up the rear with 1 finger like mine (those levers you got are garbage, trust me. I broke one mid-endo)

and you should have gotten the advanced arm. It's way better... Order that one and I take the one you got for another guy. Lets 50 on Sunday. I still can't walk, but this I'll do

- I mentioned the rear brake methood you decribed to my dad and we will give it a shot. I changed the set up as suggested by *Tanus* and it is a little better but not by much. I was riding for 3-4 hours on Thursday but wasn't able to take advantage of the brake very much.
I work on Sunday but I will pack my 50 with me, where u wanna ride at Cypress? or is that Lot infront of GM place/Expo 50 friendly??? Let me know..

- With all the new parts and shirts/stickers/paint/decals/labour..... I paid $540 canadian minus $160 the dude gave me for the front forks.
Total coast was $380 all together + several hours of wrench time.

 

GM/expo won't last long... and my 50 has a bbr pipe, so that'll bring the heat. Cypress is a good bet, or maby annacis island. Definetly do that brake mod. Just make sure you only grind off no more than an 1/8th of an inch. Take off too much and you got no brakes.

It's raining now though, and it's not looking much better for tomorrow. I guess im not meant to ride anything till I can walk
