50 engine help

50 engine help

so i finally put a new tube in the 50 and i hadnt rode it in months, i take it out screw around for a bit then after about 5 min i notice a sputter at high rpm. is it just a simple highspeed needle adjustment on the carb i need to do or could it be more serious.

i havethe same problem with mine every once and awhile.. turned out to be the 2 wires going into the coil.. try pushin those on there good and crimpin em with needle nose pliers...

check your ground, make sure its on their good and has a clean contact.

yea, check the wiring to teh coil and the ground ( hell check all teh wire connections for water or corrosion), put a new plug in it and maybe some fresh gas... one of thos e should take care of it
