Re: Breaking Stuff...

Cut them back about 2 inches, should cure your problem. Post up some pics, I wanna see those pegs. I'm in the middle of upgrading the suspension and wheels on my 110, fun *** little bikes.

Re: Breaking Stuff...

If they were already cut down, the only other alternative I can think of would be to buy some ASV shorties if you have hella $ to spend. Otherwise, just buy a half dozen OEM style levers, and keep 'em for when the **** goes down.

Re: Breaking Stuff...

i was thinkin about the asv, but its not worth it considering i paid 200 for the bike. I got some new beefier ones. I bought three, for like 12 bucks (cycle gear in temecula, is having a huuuge sale) I like the new ones better cause of the adjuster screw.

I had to go to a million differant places to find the lever though. even went to the KTM dealer..... theirs was 74 bucks.... **** that. I broke one of the pegs, im gonna have to take em off cause their bending my axle

Just cut em in half, just so that they are behind the end of the grips.

Re: Breaking Stuff...

I love breaking stuff, so i thought I'd love this thread...but it's about a bunch of bike parts.

However I do love GSWitch's new avatar, so there's that. I'm good for breaking bikes, fifties included, but I suck at fixing anything but a good meal.

Don't clamp it on the bar real tight . When it hits the ground it will spin and usually won't break .

tuchea, never thought of that one... well i need a new stem for the bars now too. I snapped one of the bolts cause i had it wrenched in to tight and it cracked. Damn, i paid 200 bucks for this thing, and i think i got what i paid for.

Re: Breaking Stuff...

push the levers in on the bars and rotate them down, then check to make sure they don't hit the ground when you drop the bike, I haven't broke a lever in 2 years on my fiddy. Bar ends help also.
