I'm building a track in my yard and looking for some people to race with.

heck yea dude, im in tacoma, where you at? you race at any of the local tracks here?

 

I live in the Lakewood area. The only local track I know of is a private one off of Center street in Tacoma.

 

im actually in lakewood too, i always just say tacoma cuz everyone knows where that is.

 

I live over by fortstilicom park if you know were that is. Do you know of any tracks in the area?

 

Damn, I didn't think that many people would pop in and say they're from WA, I think I'm totally alone over here in Montana, maybe I'll cruise over thattaway.

 

not too sure where its at exactly, i live by the lakewood mall. as for tracks theres oakwood arena in roy. www.oakwoodracing.com
they have an xr 50 adult class, and mini thumper adult classes (xr100 adult, ttr-125 adult). thats probly my favorite track cuz everyone there is real friendly and its indoor so the rain isnt a problem. pacific raceways (S.I.R.) just opened up, they have a pit bike class also. and on june 1st is the BBR mini 4-stroke challenge in yakima, wa. other than that i havent raced anywhere else. ive never heard of the place on center st. i mainly ride at a private place in roy, or in my tiny little back yard on my fiddy.

 

I have raced my CR250 probably a few dozen times or so out at the Oakwood track. I have not been out there yet to see the adult 50's race. I'm still new to the 50 racing other than back yard races I have not done any real organised racing on the little bike. Do you run a stock 50 or modified? Mine is all stock except for bars and springs.

 

nah, i just got mine last week. $1200 with a BBR handlebar kit, black plastics and a one graphics kit. then i hooked it up with a homemade 2" lift kit, wider footpegs, and a rear hand brake. saved me over $300 on all that stuff. better than paying for it. i havent touched the engine yet. i made a new endcap for the exhaust, gave it more power but the neighbor got pissed so i run the stock end cap in the yard and ill put my homemade one on for the races. i havent raced it yet, just riding wheelies in the yard and in the road. i made a jump but im not real comfortable standing up on this thing yet. im still trying to find more placs to race my fiddy, my crf150 and my xr100. not many places allow big kids on little bikes. you got AIM or something? mine is siredward20 . i dont want to waste all this web space on a chat between just me and you.

 

I'm not sure what AIM is? Is it like the PM thing? Let me know and I will see if I can set it up.

 

yea, its an AOL pm thing. dont worry about it, its a pain to set up through AOL. so you got a big backyard? how are you building this track?

 

i live in centralia, we have about 3 or 4 tracks to ride around here.

 

what tracks are by centralia? how are they? any links to their websites?

i heard capitol forest was closed for good??? or is that just the orv park?? ****.... if its open ill be there this weekend

Did you make it out to Rock Candy Today? I wanted to ride but it's been raining most of the day.

 

nah, my friend said he went, today i hooked up my fiddy with a homemade custom pipe! got some good power now! i also put on a k&n filter, and made a 12 bar. painted everything to match my 50 and just rode wheelies in the yard till the neighbor got pissed. im going out tomorrow though, probly to roy. got sun,mon,tues off so anytime you wanna hook up dude its cool.
