Just get so drunk that you won't remember putting them on. Then see how they turn out in the morning for a surprise! At least if they're screwed up you have a good background story.
Re: tips on putting on graphics by urself
use the windex.. i've done countless vinyl and graphic installs on cars adn a few on minis... you'll need some sort of squeegee (sp) and will have to be patient enough to keep smoothing the graphics down untill teh windex dries and goes away, but unless you got junk graphics there shouldn't be any problems with the adheisive
Re: tips on putting on graphics by urself
I had my friend cut the vinyl for me to fit most of the plastics on my fiddy, and then with the excess vinyl I cut my own design for the front fender ...
I just used water in a spray bottle and a vinyl squeegee... i turned the vinyl sticky side up sprayed it with water till it was soaked... fitted it to the plastics and then used the squeegee to work out all the air pockets... it will dry and stick as you are working on it...
it took me a while to do it, and my fingers were very sore... but i did it and it looks great!!! We just brought the bike home so we can change out the forks, but I will go snap a pic of the plastics and post them ...
You have to aquire alot of patience for this as well ...
