Re: 260 too much?

I don't know that I can totally answer your question, but I can tell you that my boss has two-one that has the stiff spring, big bars, etc and that thing handles me fine(280lbs) He also has a stock one for is 4 year old son. I can ride it but it bottoms out and is in general uncomfortable.
I am also wondering about some of the knock off 50s. A lot of them have a 250lb wieght limit. Are there any big guys out there rock'n chinese fifties with any luck?

Re: 260 too much?

spend the 300 you wouldve spent on the chinese bike and buy a treadmill...

if you want to rock a 50 at your weight (somewhat comfortably) youll probably want to do a swing arm, frame wouldnt hurt.. some forks.. 12 inch front wheel .. i shock.. big bars of course.. big bore.. some cushy tall foam...

-if i was as tubby bastard i would start with a 70 and do a shock and bars...

Re: 260 too much?

Just do the suspension mods and bigger bars youll be set. I done wheelies with three people on it and altogether probly over 300lbs.
