Fork Arm?

Fork Arm?
Hey, I just wrecked my bike pretty good. When I stood it back up the front tire was rubbing on the wheel. At first I thought that I had bent my frok arm. Then I noticed the throttle side arm looked longer than the other. I measured them and the throttle side is a 1/2 inch longer. So I was wondering if there are any adjustments inside the fork by the springs. I have had them apart before to put in stronger springs, but I don't remember an adjustment. So my question is does this sound like something loose or disconnected or a bent arm. The reason is is because either way I am going to have to take it apart, but I would rather just do it once if possible and I don't have arms at this time but could get them tomorrow.
thanks
Sorry if this should be in Tech.

??? sounds like you probably bent the arm, or it may just be sticking inside the upper. try pulling it out. There's no adjustment. If it was a real bad wreck, you probably just bent it. if you're gonna take it apart, you might as well get some chromo legs and bushings to go with the stiff springs. I also run stiffeners inside the legs as extra insurance.
