yep - found out the hard way. frame is ****ed. seat is a good 4" higher now. Anyone fix a subframe yet? Or build a stronger one yet?

2003 bike w/ a smashed frame. gotta love it.

Sorry to hear about that. You need to watch ebay for one. I do not know of anyone making a stronger one.

dude plenty of companys make aftermarket frames. BBR makes an aluminum one, Fast 50s makes a steel one, and there are plenty of other companys that make steel frames too.

I broke my sub frame off too right under the fender where the 2 bolts old the seat on. I need to weld up a whole new frame for it now with a removeable 12 o'clock bar

I made mine so it bolts onto the swingarm. I run the Heavy Duty shock so travel is not an issue. Just 3 bolts and its off so I can ride in the dirt without scaring the hell out of my buddies. No one want to pass a fiddy with a big bar on the back .
