Re: crf50 rim lacing?

good luck hope you dont want to ride for a while. lacing and truing a wheel is very time consuming. i work at a shop and it takes at least 3 hours for a pro mechanic

i was going to try and do it myself but you need a stand and a bunch of other crap. Its easier to have a shop do it, at least if they mess up they got to fix it

Re: crf50 rim lacing?

you guys are making me feel like superman. i had 3 broken spokes on my rear from climbing stairs so i decided to load up some hd spokes. i watched that bbr vid like 4-5 times and did exactly what he said to do. took me roughly about 1.5 hours and im sitting wobble free so far. whats it hurt to at least try it?? if you cant handle it then take it in and pay someone to do it. but at least try it yourself. take pride in your ****. spin the wheel on the axle while its clamped to a table or something. its not rocket science. its a 10" rim.
