new to fiddys, couple questions
im working on my wheelies but i cant seem to keep them up for a long time unless i do a spreader then i can ride for 20-30 feet at least what am i missing? i have to really make myself lean back whith my feet on the pegs. mind you mine is bone stock and im 6'1. im saving up for bars and pegs. i havent even rode my gsxr1000 since i bought this thing. and also how do you roll a stoppie on these little things? i can pull it up to balance point but i cant roll them. any advice would be appreciated. ive got some 50stunt pegs for the back axle coming to
Re: new to fiddys, couple questions
u'll get it, use rear brake, a lot... you need to listen to the motor, and from there control where you are around balance point.. if you hear the motor rapping out, tip it back behind bp to lower the rpms.. and if it's goin to slow, dip it a little in front of bp, this can all be controlled with throttle and brake

i didnt learn that way either but the people ive taught seem to progress faster being smooth on the throttle when they get to the pegs

now it circle school going on here now harder to teach someone them im trying everythign i can to get these ****ers spinning hard to explain body position and throttle min break imput for circs
just practice man takes time it dont happen overnight it gets frustrating and one day it just cliques and everythign is there
everybody learns different and a different way just keep at it and record it so u can watch it and see whats going on and look at it to correct it i think practice and watching tape is the best way to progress

Re: new to fiddys, couple questions
i never had that much trouble, it helped for me to hold constant pressure on the brake, it took me about 5 hrs and 4-5 loops before I had it, but now I've got it for good
Re: new to fiddys, couple questions
just practice....become best friends with the rear brake, it's a life saver-trust me.
as for the feet down thing-i tried to teach some girl that way, now she'll never put her feet on the pegs- i call that **** using "training wheels"...ha ha.
endo's---practice practice practice.............

u put it in 2nd,u give a bit gas so ur bike goes up,when u are falling down- u give more gas so u get it back, and do this all the time, this is what i do to get my bike in wheelie, and i can do it all the time,i trained on it this evening
Re: new to fiddys, couple questions
no i can really scrape my fender with my feet dragging. i just grip really tightly with me knees. my shins are almost dragging on the ground because i had my buddy take a picture.

nevertheless....."TRAINING WHEELS"....sorry bro, don't mean to be a **** Re: new to fiddys, couple questions
practice practice practice!!!!! i had that same problem on my XR100 for a while, then i just started workin on wheelies more and now its not an issues.... just practice...
Re: new to fiddys, couple questions
pratice, wreck, practice, wreck, practice. as fas as endos I learned them in high chair cause all your weight is over the front end. It helped me that I was a very good flatland bmx freestyle rider growing up so it made everything on a fiddy that much easier.
Re: new to fiddys, couple questions
i crashed more on my 50 than any other bike, i dont crash much anymore but when i was learning i crashed all the time, especially when i had my 88 thats where the scars come from
