2003 fiddy question

i just bought a 03 , if i put an exhaust on it .will i have to jet it ???

Not 100% sure but you can probably get away with raising the needle all the way up.

My exhaust is on order. I will let you know how it runs. I heard that you gotta but the 60 jet. Its only like $5.

i did an air filter & cut the spark arrester off the exhaust - w/ out jetting it - it ran like sh*t. Once I did the jet - made all the difference. I would jet it "D" for sure so it won't run the motor lean.

I put a BBR pipe on my 02 and now its got a poppin / backfire thing going on when I let off the throttle , any suggestions?

Lean Pop

That's a lean pop. I'd fatten up your jetting. Air cooled motor rely on fuel to do a lot of the cooling. Raise the needle or get a size bigger main jet.
