wheelies

how are you guys getting the front wheel up while riding? so far I can only pick it up if I put my feet on the ground from a stop (1st gear), and then it's hard to get my feet on the pegs without losing balance.. you make it look real easy, what's the secret?!

I have fast 50 bars..

2nd gear, just roll the throttle & give it a little tug. Those little fiddy's come right up. I have a slight delay on my throttle, i mat the throttle & pull up like 1 second after. bang right up. 3rd gear also comes right up w/ a small bounce. Make the 3.1 HP work!! :YEAH

Joka,
R you trying to wheelie standing up ... like in the pic?

If so, those are alot harder than say a sitdown wheelie.

Don't adjust the jets, it should come up regardless of jetting or anything else. Mine is bone stock, and is easy to bounce up in third from a slow roll.....

No, that was when I was at the arenacross..

When I sit down and try it in first gear, I can get the front up but the bike revs out fast and falls.. In second gear it doesn't even come up.. Do I just roll the throttle on and tug on the bars? I swear thats what im doing and it's not working.. I've got a stock motor too..

Thumbs up Wheelies

Hey Joka, second gear, weight back, slight tug on the bars, and roll on the throttle. Had some good ones going over the weekend and that was the first time I really tried them. Be prepared to bust your *** a few times trying to find the balance point. Also a little easier to get the front end up if you run a little slack in the chain (makes it harder to keep up though). My problem is turning. Could only run about 75 yards before running thru my neighbor's yard or ending up in the ditch. Endos in the snow were fun though. Tried leaning, throwing my knees out, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Any advice, tips? THANX

just give it some more practice. a bone stock fiddy will come right up. I just sit @ the back of the seat - i find my self hardly pulling up any more, once you find where it comes up u'll have it locked down. When i first got mine, i had the same problem. I was giving it to much throttle & not puling up @ the right time. Just gotta find the sweet spot. U'll get it. :YEAH

well first thing to say is it takes alot of practice...not like one or two hours. especially if you cant ride a wheelie on anything. yall need to sit waaaaayyyy back on the seat to get some of your weight off the front (i sit all the way back to where it hurts your ***) . keep your arms locked and lean back and in 2nd gear give her some gas and a big tug and she should come up. also have any of you tried the good old fashioned draggin your feet trick??? it will cash out a pair of shoes but atleast you will get an idea of the balance point.

I ride all over the city here so i dont keep goin by the same houses then no one gets pissed. The cops dont bother me cause the bike is so small. They stop and talk to me sometimes. They just say that if someone tells me its botherin them to go somewhere else so he doesnt have to come out. I talked to one over the weekend in an apartment complex then followed him to the gate doin a wheelie. Cops like fiddys!!

sorry that was so long.hehe
