screw both... save over 50% on one and buy mine... granted it is alot more money, but look at what you are getting.

Re: CRF 50 vs mxcrazy 72...

Well, i got the first gen. mxcrazy bike. I love the thing. I've had it since Easter and have put on a lot of hours on it and haven't really had any problems. I did, however, put ball bearings in the rear swing arm which is a big improovement over the stock bushings. Another annoyance is that the forks/front wheel twist when i crash, but it's easily straitened by locking the wheel with my feet and turning the handlebars. The bike has great power. 3rd gear wheelies come up real easy. With everything stock, i clocked it at 45. The front hydrolic brakes are great for endos.
I don't know first hand how many of the parts are interchangeable, but was told that most of the parts and all of the major systems are interchangeable. To the layman's eyes, it looks exactly like a real 50. I only know that the 50 stunt pegs fit
I bought the bike for 500 which i think is a hell of a deal. A comparable honda would cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Hell, just the tall bar kit and a big bore kit would put you over 500.

The one you got was actually 3rd gen.. This current model is the 4th gen.
The biggest difference is the one down three up tranny and the forks. I actually think this model is a bit more powerful than the previous model but havent' drag raced the two yet. Another addition to this model is the wide pegs, which makes it a bit more comfortable to ride. This model also has the tall seat with gripper foam which some like over the regular stock seat.
Is it a perfect bike? No, but no stock bike is.. It's definately a very good bike that you will thoroughly enjoy on and off road.
Good luck with whatever you buy, these things are a blast and soooo addicting.
