To go big bore, or not to go big bore...that is the question...

All right heres the deal. I have been stuntin on my fiddy for over a year now. I can wheelie for blocks, can do seat standers, peg tricks, combos, whatever.

But I can not for the life of me do high chairs. The bike just doesn't seem to have the grunt to pick up the tire more than 6 inches or so, no matter how hard I pull up, throw my feet up, whatever.

Should I go big bore? Or should I just stick with the stock bore?

Will a big bore open up more trick possiblilities or will it make stunting more difficult?

Any feedback here would be appreciated.

Go big bore. I resisted for a long time but now I am very glad I did it.

High chairs with a big bore are fun.

If you just want it for stunting and not racing I would go with a 82 kit. It will be more than enough to get that HC rolling. :YEAH

Now if you want to roll fast go with the 88 BB with a head and gear the **** out of it for top end.

Fab5Fiddy on here is your contact for what you need. :YEAH

Go big bore, it works for high chairs and pulling out of 12s back ito a wheelie again without dropping the front wheel.

the big bore will definatly be a plus. it will be a little difrent at first cause you will need to have more throttle control with the bigger engine but that will come in time. and it does open up more possablities and will be more fun. i also was against getting the bigger motor at first but now im glad i did.

I went with an 88 with no carb or cam....lovin it. I got it from Fab also. My friend has a BBK 82 with cam....I don't like the way it feels....the cam makes it twitchy once ur on one wheel IMO. Talk to Fab...he'll set u up and answer any questions you have

big bore it is then.

Like I said before, i mainly just stunt my fiddy, with a bit of trail ridin here and there. I ride by myself 95% of the time, so I don't need 10hp to race, ya know?

72, 82 or 88?

I would go with the 82. But PM fab5 and then call him and tell him what you want to do with it.

He will know the best kit bro. DO IT!!!!

Re: To go big bore, or not to go big bore...that is the question...

I installed the 72 kit. It came a day early! It's just about perfect, it didn't change how I stunted. Actually, It helped it out. 3rd gear now comes up like second did on a stock motor. 2nd is still smooth, even with my 1/4 turn throttle. Comes up without pulling much at all. Its really not any more twitchy then the stock motor was, I could easily loop out on a stock motor, and this isn't much different. 2 of my friends from stuntlife rode it, and both of them killed it like nothing changed. Pretty sure they are interested in boring up now too.
I recommend a bore kit for stunting for sure.

Later.
