Picked up my new toy today....got some fresh stitches to prove it.

but i have almost lost a finger or two. went down (fiddy came out from under me, throttle stuck, and as i was falling i put my hand down to catch myself and instead of catching concrete i had a hand full of rear tire. almost in the spokes

 

those little things suprise all of us. love seeing people power shift 1st to 2nd & flipping over. "its only a 50, what can it do". he he, just watch.

Everyone that has got on my fiddy shifts first to second and loops it!!! I stand and watch everytime.haha

 

First time on a fiddy I got on my fat *** power shifted in to 2nd and rode that bitch for like 7 feet <small wheelie time>........I love fiddys ...Too bad I can't afford one ..lol ..

 

looped my xr80 yanking the fugger into a 3rd gear wheelie last week, I m wearing band aids everywhere.

 

yeowch. thats pretty fast and road rash sucks *****. When ever im doing 3rd gear wheelies w/ like 3/4 throttle - my worst thought it im gonna loop & skid down the road. Those little bastards get going pretty good!! :devil

 

I agree, thrid gear is fast. Road rash is one of the worst things.

Twice today I looped going from wide open 2nd gear shifting into third and the bitch flew out from under me. Two different times. My knee and BOTH elbows are hamburger, we were in a dirt parking lot at the time.

 

Im a NooB to the fiddy scene, so I got a question...
Whats the best gear for a wheelie?
Is it possible to go through all the gears?
And where the hell is the "balance point"?

3. the balance point is way up there. Lift your 50 up by the bars and feel where it balances. Lift it up like a wheelie while sitting on the back of the seat and feel where it balances.

 

How long can you wheelie for?

haha been there its not fun. Shifting gears is pretty tricky ****. First gear wheelies are hella fun busting all kinds of tricks in one wheelie super slow mo. But 2nd gear is really smooth and you dont have to work the brake as much to keep it from revin out. 3rd gears are even better you just gotta get waaay back on the seat to pop that bitch up!!
