Here is one of the exhaust considerations for my monkey project. I think its absolutely beautiful exhaust. What do you guys think?

damn that's pure titanium, love the coloring on it, heat makes it get all crazy... so what exactly is a monkey? is that a z50 with a bigger motor n better swingarm or somethin?

Yeah pretty much, a monkey is the UK and Japan version of the Z50s. pretty much the same bike but a full electrical system for lights indicators, horn, etc. They were designed for riding around on the streets, where as the US z50s were designed to be trail bikes.

If i had a board ide pretty much let anything fly on it. kind of like how 50riders is run but with more stunters on it.

Well the big differnce for me is my monkey is street legal and has a Califonia plate. So i can ride it around town. Plus there is only one other guy in the bay area that has one so its pretty neat to be like only 1 of 2 guys around that has one.

Sure i can stunt the hell out of it like i can the crf but i dont really have it to stunt anyways.

I think im going to try and see if i can build a trailer for it so i can use it to tow my crf to the stunt spot on the week nights.

That pipe is badass Brad! $six00 not so sure if its worth that. I think it sweeps a bit low in the center myself to. That bike its on is pure sickness too. I'm catching the fever for the monkey bike!! I want to rock one to work and park it in my cube so bad!!

What I want to know is if say (hypotheticly of course) I was to buy yours from cali where its legal and has a plate can I bring it back and does the Missouri DMV have to honor the plates and let me register it?!

Not sure, if you are really interested in getting a hold of a street legal one the man to talk to is Dan Smith aka Z88R on planetminis. he is the biggest resource for info on Monkeys in the US by far.

 

I do right now but its going away soon, because im buying a house and i dont want to pay for the gas on it anymore.
