12 bar pics

heres some pics of the 12 bar i just made. this is how you can make one without welding. ive hit it pretty good so far and holds up great.

ill try to get some pics. it goes straight all the way down the subframe to the frame and i notched out for the exhuast and the clips that hold the seat. then i used 4 u-bolts, 2 on eachside to hold it on.

looks good but also looks like it might be a bit heavy?

a little bit yea, but the thick plate on the end is only aluminum. i weighed it at work and it only weighs 9 pounds. btw i made it at work with all scrap they had so it didnt cost me anything. im going to start working on a roller bar soon i just wanted to get use to hittin something.

i just made one for mine, i welded it, and put a support brace down so the subframe doesn';t tweak... i've been hittin 3rd gear pretty fast on the bar, and it's cool.. just kinda heavy, drunken welding

i would have loved to weld it but i dont know how to. i fooled around with the welder at work for a couple nights but there is no way i would have gotten it to stick together. ive been hittin it at all speeds and the thing hasnt budged yet
