To buy or not to buy...

Well I was wondering if I should buy a rear brake kit, Or should I just continue to use the foot brake...Any feed back on the pros and cons on this subject would help me out.

Thanks

Re: To buy or not to buy...

i made my brake for under 25 bucks, and a little ghetto engineering. middleschooler proves that a handbrake isn't needed, but i am not comfortable w/o one.

Re: To buy or not to buy...

Giger

I bought the 50 stunt rear hand brake and put it on my bike (just like yours)
It works pretty well but youre not coming to a screeching hault with it..
I still cant ride a wheelie for crap though. But thats not its fault.

I've been riding the 107's like crazy and have pretty much parked the smaller ones. The 107's have so much more torque and suspension..
I wish I could move the hand brake over but the 107's have hydraulic disc and the manual clutch lever would be in my way... A tumb brake would be cool.. Kinda like a hot start button on a big fourstroke.

Re: To buy or not to buy...

I never called it cheating nor would I make fun of you for using one. Im just not going to buy one unless I think I really need it. Right now, I dont need one.
