So sick of....
Pinching GD tubes. this has got to be the 4th time between 2 bikes. first one was kind of stupid of me pinching it while mounting a tire...2 were low air pressure and then the last was a complete mystery. was riding down a dark bike trail at night and prolly ran some **** over but didnt find anything in the tire. nice little slit the size of my weiner in the tube. gay gay gay. time to stock up on tubes. im becomming a pro at tire swaps now though. oh yea and i taped the living **** out of the rim so instead of that rubber band ive got half a roll of electrical tape on it.

Re: So sick of....
I would just do a triple-check of the rim/tire/tube before airing the tire up after a swap. If something don't feel right, don't air it up, fix the problem, because you can't go back. I have never had a pinch flat yet. Also filling the tube with a squirt or two of air helps to get it centered in the tire. Just run your fingers along the inside edge of the tire to make sure the tube is where it should be. Bottom line is just be careful and take your time. If you **** it up, that's just more time you will spend putting your spare tube in, assuming you don't pinch that one too.
