Colors...??? suggestion
Colors...??? suggestion
ok, i'm overhauling my 50 for the dallas ride/comp and i've got the frame painted red with a hint of gold flake, black forks, black case covers, still stock chrome wheels, and i've aquired a set of crf plastics from a fellow 50 rider.
well, my frame red makes the stock crf red look pink...soo....i'm going to leave the sides white and paint the fenders and shrouds..i was thinking black metallic??? any other suggestions???

Re: Colors...??? suggestion
That will look good...The only problem that paint may just flake right off, have you thought of getting chrome vinyl that will be good and you can keep replacing it when worn or scratched bad?
Re: Colors...??? suggestion
what do you mean?? like the rolls of sticker stuff??? does that stuff actually work?? i've never seen it around here...
btw, i do decent prep and would clear the paint so it should be halfway durable, we'll see if it'll last the run though...lol..

Hey hold up there sukka! Regular spray paint will get ****ed up as soon as you ride the bike, plastic bends even if you're just getting on and off the bike. It will flake off.
What YOU need is KRYLON FUSION! It's made specifically for plastic and you can literally fold the fender in half before the stuff will come off. It's in the same place as other spraypaint and it should be on a special rack or somethin, there's alot of colors to choose from too and the stuff comes out mad glossy without any clearcoat or nottin. You don't need to do any prep work either...
