What is the normal route for the handbrake cable? Across the bars,under the tank next to the frame and then under where my stock air filter would be? It seems to work ok that route.

I need to mess with it some more to get more grab out of it.

I route mine in front of the handlebars, under the tank on the right side, ziptie to the coil mount, then inside the frame between the top motor mounts to keep it away from the exhaust, then to the bracket on the swingarm.

Got it. Exactly how I did it. It's just competing for space with the tappet breather hose.
