since FIVEO is a slacker...

and hasnt gotten around to post results about his lightened flywheel... i decided it was time to lighten my own. we will be putting this beast to the test this weekend on FLyGuYy03's top secret weapon. this bad unit is 9 oz. lighter than the stock piece...

we put fiveo's flywheel on my stocker and it didnt make any difference, dont know about a big bore yet

SUKIT.......It has been 4 months since i rode my fiddy .. you can't fathom how bad i'm hurting inside to ride..here's what i looking at so far...

ok adam, ill break it down into a language you can understand...

yer mustang... say yer buying a extra set of rims with slicks so you can bolt them on at the track. are you gonna buy some 15" aluminum weld racing wheels or are you gonna buy some 20" daytons to throw some slicks on? which rim do you think will be better for what you are trying to do? the heavier a wheel is, the more power it takes to get it moving. same goes for stopping it. it takes more braking power to slow them twankies down right?. get it?

Less rotating mass....flywheel--sprockets--crank...etc.. in theory allow it to rev faster

nah, all my pistons are cut pretty low to begin with. the short rod motors do have a huge skirt though.
