Endo technique???

I've always just braked hard on the fiddy and gave a good push down to the bars to endo. But I can't roll em very far, maybe 20ft on a good day. How do u guys roll em long? I just learned to endo my streetbike "correctly" the other day by being more progressive on the brake instead of a hard jab like i do on the fiddies. But whenever I try the progressive way on the fiddy i just loose to much speed, how do u guys do em?

Re: Endo technique???

get going at the speed you feel comfortable..scoot up towards the front...when you get ready throw your weight foward and kinda hop you *** off the seat, this will throw the *** end up quicker so you dont loose alot of speed, at the same time grab some brake...i liked alot of play on my front brakes..I could squeeze it almost half way before it started braking...felt like i had a better feel for it and could do em smoother like that... hope this helps

Re: Endo technique???

when your upm to speed pull the brake hard to get you up in air then just tap it to keep the rear in the air th first pull is most important though you gotta h=get to the balance point

Re: Endo technique???

i think that its easier the faster you go and when you get tapped bounce on the seat and yoke your front brake and try to find the balancing point and once you find it you will know when you get it good luck man

Re: Endo technique???

I use a little brake and the bounce method. My personal best is 63feet. Although still haven't been able to top it yet. Which sux since the stunt comp is coming up fast and I need like 125+feet to win that probably.
Over all just practice practice and a bit more ride time. I can't count how many stoppies I have looped.

Re: Endo technique???

like a few guys said above. the key is to get to bp as quick as possible so u dont lose much speed. maybe practice coming in the top of 2nd gear and getting the feel for the height u need you should be able to roll at least 30 ft in 2nd if u hit bp. then work your way to 3rd gear pinned. try to do some highchair endos too with your *** almost on the tank usually i can roll those further than regular endos

Re: Endo technique???

Stoppies are my personal favorite stunt to do and see done

All......i have experienced this: fatter tires much less distance but easier to control....narrow even .25 makes alot of difference, cause it's foot print that takes away speed & momentum....I ride a stock fiddy so i can't speak for the motor mod guys...my opinion 2.75 street tires on a stock fiddy will get you the maximum distance, i personally lost like 40 or so feet on my stoppies when i bumped up to 3.00 IRC Street tires, my best were Bridgestone 2.75

On another note, i have also experienced this: wider street tire (3.00) gave me a much tighter circle radius, but limited to that, and the narrow 2.75 i could control the circle diameter better but could not acomplish a smooth consistant amount of tight circles, i'm talk like a 6ft. diameter....and this all is in first gear. second & third gear circles no problem but not as tight on stocker

just a bunch of my

Re: Endo technique???

i also feel that speed obviously has alot to do with distance, but not the only or main factor, its like golf you need to put together a series of techniques to accomplish the maximum, i love golf and fiddies...lol.....cause i can roll 30ft or so with first.....its the body momentum and the non fear of starrin at the pavement..... i love watch lie Ryan from DV8 roll em on his rocket at like 120 and friggin 1/4 mile roll that is totally the awesomist stunt to see...this would be a sweet thing to start seeing, who can bring their stoppie to a STOP and hold and balance the longest....this is friggin hard i've been tryin....lol, dont let go of the front brake....heee.heee... i tried it on the edge of a curb...busted my *** i may even have video, ill look

Re: Endo technique???

ok im buzzed...go figure , but it would also be sweet to see someone pull off a 360 stoppie and ride out in a wheelie....i have accomplished only a 180 and rode off in an immediate wheelie....then also have tried from a wide open 3rd wheelie immediatly into a stoppie, but have not accomplished impressive distance yet....but again im stock.....the big bores should be able to roll full bore and blast into stoppie that looks so cool on video

Re: Endo technique???

I personally only roll highchair stoppies cause it sucks crashin' the suicide stoppies. My knees still haven't forgivin' me But anyway, I have 3in tires front and back on my 's and on both I can rock 100 footers while in the highchair.......and thats in second gear. :YEAH Just get going to a comfortable speed, as soon as your ready push down on your handlebars, stick your legs out straight, nail the brake, and just feather it until you stop........or crash. But if you are going to crash, just run away. Thats why I like these kind of stoppies. :YEAH Just my And BUZZ, Ive never seen better stoppies than yours. :YEAH

Re: Endo technique???

sounds to me like you have the technique already.... just go fast and nail the brake for a second, once the *** gets high let off the brake pretty much and coast it out
