is it safe to pull it off at the motor and jus run a longer hose into to the sub frame somewhere?????

yep get rid of the whole i thing all it is for is to run the extra oil away from every thing to keep it clean

 

my dad said that it actualy helps the enviroment ever so slightly.
if you notice when your fiddy runs, air comes out of it. air from the tranny (i think) comes out, and what little oil is in it its traped in it. and after a while it drips back down into the tranny.

 

crank case breather just run a hose from the case up near the neck adn put a small filter on it
