Re: ADAMF4I's Bike

the plastics werent the only dirty part on that bike

i feel bad for scott and all i had to do was help disassemble the forks, the parts that needed it are all clean and purty though

Re: ADAMF4I's Bike

now....do you (BR) think your supports you welded in that frame would have prevented that??? or jus increased the sitting weight???

???? darthtedd's ....maybe.....if he welded his support arm's back farther back.....say past the existing subframe support......

my question is........ is it worth for me to and the supports before i have mine painted......i have no 12 bar....but if i eva wanted one nows the time to weld.

BR is the sub on ur stunt 50 bent at all???

No my supports were really for a differnt look. The one im building isnt really for stunting or jumping. Imgoing to race it motard.

Here is what you do though.

Straighten out the subframe using a table clamp or something even bend the last few inches of the sub frame perfectly straight and cram some inserts down the back of the subframe.

then weld some braces like Fuscat did to his. you could 12 that all day and it wouldn’t bend.

i kno...thats why i thought they were for sitting weight....

Here is what you do though.

inserts down the back of the subframe.

i dont kno if i want a 12 bar....so i was jus gonna beef up the welds to the stock subframe (were they join)

and add 1 insert in the very back...or try to make a loop or a "C" to make the sub one peice instend of having two single tubes....

think that would be enuff???

Re: ADAMF4I's Bike

This pic is a bit blurry but a decent angle showing my frame supports. There's even connecting the 2 pipe pieces on the subframe (under the rear fender).
