the swing arm is garbage. some cats on PM have been ripping that stuff to shreads.

the dam swingarms come with chain adjusters made of wood.

Know anything about their Triple Clamps? Might pick 1 up, price seems decent for anodized(sp) Red or Black clamp.

i was looking at the forks but like Brad has said i been reading some stuff about em. Mostly lurking other dirt boards but sounds like about a 50/50 on if they will hold up or not. Too bad, there needs to be another option in the $300 range..

yea ive basically decided to just stay with the honda for now but if you think about it, its not a honda anymore. Im replacing everything on that bike except for the frame and hubs. and really, the hubs will be replaced soon too. Im buyin one of those zong shen motors so whats the diff from buyin an xr fiddy or buyin a knockoff if your replacing everything anyway?

Re: 50 caliber parts on ebay?

I wouldn't buy their stuff cause they ripped off bbr, ishock, and billetwares designs had them cloned in china. We all know that chinese clones have ever possible corner cut on them, and typically won't last. I was involved in every thread over on pm and richie(50caliber) dodged every question from every person, and he just wormed out, and dissapeared for a month, or so then returned as a paid advertiser, and was posting threads for sponsorship and it was like alot people forgot that he is a pos a person and pedals junk which he won't even hold himself accountable for by answering questions about his products he sells. That was it for me on pm I haven't been back since.

Re: 50 caliber parts on ebay?

damn thanks for the info 50man!

I'm pretty sure I will be staying away from their parts. Just can't believe there isn't a halfway decent bolt on option in the $250-300 range for some damn forks!

yo heres is another ebay deal I was thinking of. Good price but is this a quality product? Damn I mean there has to be someone out there that is going to make a decent product and undersell the competitors.

Re: 50 caliber parts on ebay?

dammmn! that even comes with bars, disc brakes, and a 12" front rim..

My sense is telling me too good to be true tho for that price! doesn't look bad, but on that token from the looks the 50caliber stuff didn't "look bad" either..

Re: 50 caliber parts on ebay?

That is the front end off of a sikk mx mini.
I don't really know anything about it cause I don't own one, and I haven't heard anything about them either. However I do know that they are chinese, and one of my concerns with that is where can you get a new rotor, or brake pads, or new seals? The only thing in my opinion they have going for them is that Atom Rotten is selling sikk mx stuff, he is a promoter so I'm sure he doesn't want his name to be dainted by selling shitty parts, but then agian on the other hand, it has only been a couple of months since he left sik50's to go on his own, and maybe he'll drop sikk mx as his grows with more american made manufacturers in the near future. I can't find the pics in comp, but I know I saved it. I have a pic of a brand new sikk mx 110 with the protective plastic still on the seat, and the foot peg bar had snapped off. lol what does that tell you?

I have bought 2 sets of rims, and 2 sets of crf plastics from The ebay seller carolgoat, and all I can tell you guys is that you get what you pay for. Plain, and simple truth.

Re: 50 caliber parts on ebay?

Well thanks again for the info you have given us! I know I appreciate it. Guess the hunt continues. I'v been hearing about XR70 forks fitting and being a pretty good option with only a little modification for a "better" setup but still not fantastic..

I'll keep looking..
