i posted this in the Classified section but wanted to share with all of you since this jackass tryed to sell his **** in this forum. heres a copy and paste from my other thread....



this cat made a post in the XRFIDDY FOR SALE section right around the new year for a 03 XR50 he had that was COMPLETE minus a motor. post can be found here...

after several emails with details about the bike, he had told me he also had a 900RR for sale. at the time, i was looking for both bikes so this was perfect for me. the 900 was a bit beat up which was fine with me and was not running due to a broken stator cover. he had told me numerous times that the motor "runs and shifts 100%". so he threw me an offer i could not refuse. i told him, "please do not bullshit me. i will be driving 8 hours one way and i do not have time for no bullshit." he assured me everything was as stated and he would never lie to anyone seeing that they are driving 17 hours round trip for a deal. so i took his word and headed out of Cleveland, OH toward Staten Island, NY.

8 and a half hours later i arrived and met the dood on some shady *** industrial parkway rd. he pulled up with an enclosed trailer with the goods. at first he unloaded the fiddy which was missing a hell of a lot more than just the motor like he had told me earlier. it ended up needing a wire harness, ignition coil, cdi box, rear brake lever, footpeg assembly, and exhaust pipe. not to mention all the broken spokes and flat tires he left me with. no big deal. my main reason was to get the 900. i could deal with finding the fiddy parts.


finally the 900RR was unloaded. for whatever reason, the dood was in a major hurry to get this thing out of his trailer and into my truck. since the stator cover was busted, i couldnt hear the engine run so despite his rush, i wanted to take a good look at this bike. after a quick 5 minute inspection i discovered a broken piece missing from the engine case just below the stator cover. im thinkin to my self.. " i just drove 500 miles for these 2 pieces of $hit." all i had on me was a bank check for the amout we discussed. i wanted to offer him less i had no cash and i drove all this way for this stuff, there was no way i could go home empty handed. at that point he had told me he would paypal $100 back to me due to the engine case being broken and then assured me again that "the engine runs and shifts 100%" i said ok fine and drove back to Cleveland without the bills of sale he had promised.

after a week of calling this dood and harrasing him, he finally sent the paypal he promised. at that point he told me the missing fiddy parts were on there way and he would email a tracking number. a month later and an assload of money spent on both bikes. still no fiddy parts like he promised. i have now found out today that the motor in the 900 is totally shot. doesnt even have enough cylinder pressure to rev the engine over 2000 RPM. infact the damn thing smokes so bad, the neighbors called the fire department.

somehow i got ahold of him today and told him about the motor. he told me once again that "the motor runs and shifts 100%" ohh, and "the fiddy parts are on the way ill email a tracking number tonight." never got the tracking number.

stay away from this assbag. he's a piece of $hit and he will pay for all the money and headaches he has cost me. what goes around comes around biatch. concider yourself lucky that i have no time or i would drive my *** back there and beat you in your kunt you ****** pu$$y.

 

Fab I feel your pain, remember the road trip when we dropped by your house on the way to PA? we did it once, and we'll do it again.

that ****bag hasn't paypal'd back a refund of $20 like the fat **** said he would, same situation, said bike was complete and all parts were there to reassemble the bike, but turns out it was missing about $50 work of nickel and dime ****, and the kid didn't know how to tear anything apart, wait he did HE TORE IT APART he just didn't now how to dissassemble it.

Thats too bad you felt you couldn't drive away from a bad deal. That is one of the most important things I have come to learn at my ripe old age. It sure pisses you off but after a couple of days you realize it was for the better.

I went to Indy for a supposed brand new supermoto at a FU(KING stealership. 2 y/o left over model. 4 hours each way. The bike was not as promised. I drove away. My Dad and I had a fun 4 hour ride home planning all sorts of **** that was gonna happen to that B I T C H that owned the stealership. We have done some of it. We have some left to do. This was two years ago. Revenge is best served cold.

Use your connections on this board. Some fun **** goes on behind the scenes. I haven't taken part in ANY of it though. :YEAH

yeah. it just makes me so sick that someone could flat out lie to someone like that. i seriously would not be able to sleep at night knowing i did that to someone. he will get his.

That is a bunch of bullshi* man....I feel for you...The same kind of thing happened to me on e-bay with a car..... 98' Cadillac Catera in New York.....car loked great in the pics and the guy said it ran great no problems...for the price it was worth the drive......... Got all the way there and it looked the car was in a lake...trunk had 4 inches of water in it.....abs lite stuck on.....ripped headliner, burning oil....... etc...etc...I could have beat the sh*t out of the ****y New York ****er for ltying and wating my time.....Its amazing how people can lie/cheat/steal right to your face....so I know where u are coming from.....This guy must have been a friend of who sold u that other sh*t.....He'll get his one way or the other...Luckily I walked away from the offer....Sometimes ebay is bullshit.........

 

you should of went with gut feeling and just left empty handed no matter how bad you wanted it , if u knew it was going to cause headaches

i think my buddy might go through the same drama soon. found a guy selling a gsxr for a good deal claims title is coming but its clean etc .. so he wants me to drive there with him .. he was like bring the glock cause if we drive there and he tries to lie about something after we drive that far im going to shoot the bike so that way he cant use it either liar .. damn i have crazy friends

sux to hear that though i know everyone has their own buying from net horror stories

mine: found some "mint" plastics for my gsxr the lowers. needless to say when i got them the box seemed way to skinny to house 2 lowers. i open the box no wrapping of any kind, fairings just rubbing inside the box and each other. from the guy stuffing them in there they were cracked and rashed when he said mint .. i contacted the guy he claims they were mint and paypal and ebay like always are useless in life .. their policy is if you receive the item they cant do anything about it ... damn it makes me mad thinking about it cause now im stuck with cracked rashed plastics on my bike

Fab - you remember our convo ? About a year or more ago I got screw'd out of a 900 part by a guy on here and he was a top poster - but not a fiddy guy, but a wantabe stunter. Anyways.......any fiddy riders live near this guy? Some one go pay him a visit or something.

I could see something being minor and then just dealing with it, but for something like that and something that is $$$ then that is jacked up.

Now if it was a 5 dollar part or something and was scratched or something then who cares....but you sound like you got screw'd and didn't even get kissed.

Does Stuntlife have anything like on ebay where you can leave bad feedback? Like with report a bad post or the repatation?

 

there is a reputation section in the classifieds that i posted it in. doest look like many poeple view those pages though.

i ran the VIN. came back as a totally different bike. this was after i had already dropped about a grand into this thing to get it back to a rideable condition. needless to say the frame doesnt have a VIN anymore. im to the point now where i have so much invested it would be a major loss to sell this thing the way it sits. if i have to get another frame with a clean VIN and title that is what i will do.
