12'n a stock 50 w/ no bar?
12'n a stock 50 w/ no bar?
at the end of the day yesterday, i tried to 12 my fiddy. stock suspension - no 12 bar. My mission was to scrape tail and ride it away. That mother ****** isn't a 12, that ***** a 2 oclock!! Im in 2nd gear, get it back pretty vertical - ive got the tail about 4" from the ground that I can get it that high, brake & ride it back out w/ out crashing or putting my feet down - if i go further, it seems i dont have the brake to get me back down (but i know some of you sick bastards can do it, so it can be done).
what gear are you in 12'n, and does it sound like i just need some more speed and a few more beers? (beer ***** of course) If we weren't getting like 2 feet of snow today I'd be out there again.
:YEAH

:YEAH nice, so bang 2nd way up to eat the speed it takes to ride the brake. I just gotta go at it - if there wasn't a blizzard outside i'd be on it.
And you can scrape the tail w/ no bar? thats pimp.
that **** is like BACKWARDS.
i figured it could be done, now i just gotta do it!!

Speed and engine rpm is the key. I do it in 3rd gear to keep speed up but engine rpm's low. When I try to do at the top of 2nd gear I can't seem to give it enough brake to get it back forward. I think this is because yI'm having to work to much against the motor when I brake at high rpm's.

Like I said I can only scrap in 3rd. I've busted many a time trying both 2nd and 1st gear. Too much rpm's make the fiddy's harder to bring down with the rear brake. Might be because my pads are kinda worn too :p

def have to coast into it/ carry speed into it.
I wont listen to any of you that say you can scrape a fiddy consistently w/o a bar. It's total luck of the draw. I used to tape a ruler hangin of the tail 2" and could hit that everytime. THATS 12, like 1000 said teh tail doesn't hit till 2.

Rodge - are you running a 12 bar on ur fiddy? I know that if i had some **** @ 12 i could scrape it no problem. I think its one of the dudes from darius's crew that makes the 12 bars...

I wonder if you could make a street legal XR50? I mean, size isn't a problem, YSR 50's are street legal, with that kit it'd be able to keep up with traffic, throw a headlight, tail light, and signals. You might be able to pimp a highway wheelie on a fiddy.

in cali its just a matter of putting on proper equip. and it's no prob.
other states are much more difficult w/ titles that say OFF ROAD USE ONLY on them. they dont believe you should be allowed to modify OFF ROAD bikes for street use. I'll let you all in a secret
SHUGGA HAS A LEGAL TITLE FOR HIS FIDDY. and he is a IL resident so it is possible
