Is this true?

NOTE: The larger engines displace more exhaust. The stock exhaust cannot allow all of the extra burnt gasses to escape. Using the stock exhaust can cause severe engine damage! The excessive backpressure can cause extreme pressure on the piston and rings - the rings can literally be forced into the cylinder wall and wear out quickly and/or destroy your bore - the extra drag of this excessive back pressure can also strain the entire engine just enough to cause catostrophic failures to the cylinder, crankshaft and head. This pressure can blow backwards through your valves as well - No joke, don't run the stock exhausts with a high compression big bore engine unless you are ready to dish out a huge amount of money to repair your motor!

did someone tell you that so they could sell you a pipe

cuss my crf 100 has the same pipe as a fiddy, not the whole thing but the end tip you can take off, is the same as a fiddy

so I guess the people at honda want me to blow up my bike

any after market pipe will give you a tad more top end, but lose bottom end torque power

hands down the stock pipe is by far the best pipe for a fiddy. if your looking for that little top end power, just take off the end cap and have all noise no go

Re: Is this true?

It will not blow back through valves it will never leave the cylinder. If your worried take off your endcap, it frees it up alot.
