I live like 20 mins or so from him, he can be hard to get a hold of sometimes - but everyone has a life. keep checking with him - squeaky wheel get the oil.

 

damn 20 minutes away?? I would love to have a retail place like that around I could just walk in on a saturday and get a part.. specially one with kickass parts at good prices. Here we pretty much have to order everything and wait.

I just searched from 9-21 to today and have zero sales to Waterbury, CT.
(knowing his name and/or what he bought would help, but addy searches work
too). I have zero customers at the time inquiring about late/missing
packages like this, and I have no outstanding back-orders. There was one
youngster about two weeks ago who e-mailed several times saying he had paid
and hadn't got his package, but there was no record of it with me or Paypal.
His dad called and after discussion we figured out the problem was his kid
sent the money to tom@xtremeracing50s.com which sure isn't me. The dad paid
with a credit card and the package shipped immediately (to their DE
address). I also searched all CT shipments and all shipped either the day
paid or the following day if the payment was made after hours. This guy may
think he ordered something from me, but he sure hasn't at this point. At
least within the last 3 months. I get phone calls every once in a while from
an angry customer who tears into me for something like this which turns out
they bought from one of the other dealers that sells a lot on Ebay and they
mistakenly called me about their problems with that place, but I can proudly
say this hasn't been an issue with me (knocking on wood). Either this fella
feels the need to butt-slam me on a public forum because he's a backer of
another shop, or he's simply mistaken about who/where his money went, but he
does not have an open order with me. If you did in fact place an order with
me that's missing, he needs to make contact to let me know and give me some
details on when, who, etc. so it can be found. But as of this moment,
there's nothing what so ever related to Waterbury, CT. on file from the past
90 days.

I'm not a member of that forum to reply to that guy, but please feel free to
post it if you want. And honestly, if you sent someone some dough and hadn't
got your package in a month and a half, wouldn't you make some kind of
effort to find out what's going on or get the money back? This kid has his
wires crossed somewhere.

Kevin sent his payment on 12/11/04, not two weeks ago from his post as
claimed. He sent an unconfirmed payment which cancelled Paypal's protection
policies that should have been denied, but was accepted because of his
history with me. An e-mail was sent on 12/11/04 saying his order would not
ship until the funds cleared due to the unconfirmed address wiping all
policies. Paypal notified me on 12/16/04 (same day I was broken into) that
the funds had clear. Even though with everything going on that afternoon
with the police and detectives all afternoon, the phone calls to insurance
company for the truck damages and to get a rent-car here immediately, and
the other insurance company for the break-in itself for the product/bike
that was stolen, I still got to the USPS before 5:30 by using a neighbor's
car to get this order and the others out on schedule. I'll go out of my way
everyday in effort to get people's orders shipped as fast as possible like
this when called for. Sometimes it means a trip to UPS's or USPS's offices
at D/FW Airport because it's too late for daily pickup or the local branch
is closed, but 99% of the time orders are shipped when they're supposed to.
Things like unsecured Paypal payments and their guidelines are out of my
control, but I did everything I could to get that order out the same day it
cleared. This isn't the first time someone's complained over an unconfirmed
payment holding things up a few days in the past couple of weeks which has
made my new acceptance policy "No unconfirmed payments accepted under any
circumstance" like most other sellers follow. Attempting to be more flexible
with the buyer isn't worth the aggravation and accusations.
