i am buying nudie bars for my fiddy and i am makin the bracket but i need to know what the part is called that hold the bars in place i am havin a brain fart and i cant remeber, you know it got four bolts and you clamp the bars in between em... and i also need to know what elde im gonna need prolly a new throttle cable and assembely on the bar.. where can i get those? yeah thats about all im gonna need!

 

tripple tree clamp???

 

the bars are attached by the bar clamp, which attach to the tripple tree, which connects to the forks and neck.

when setting up for big bars(typically 7/8" bars) you will need a new brake lever, throttle assembly, grips, and extended brake and throttle cables.

not always will he need a longer throttle cable. i have heard of guys using the stock throttle cable. they just gotta re-run it. and another addition to that list is bar ends. not necessary, but a very nice commodity. it will save your throttle tube in case of an accident!

 

well i got 2 50s and i already got the big bar set up one, then i got my other one the i did a lil modifying to works for now but i want the same setup. those are stock bars
