Lights for winding stator?

I've been looking at all the auto parts stores, h ardware stores, every website i could find...and i've been having no luck finding like 2 circular 25watt+ 12volt halogen lights. Ya know what i'm talking about?

And is it just me, or did i get ripped off on magnet wire, 8 bucks a 1/2lb? I have a feeling that its somewhat steep.

THanks
