Yes, they are similar to the xr50, but they have much more power and weight. So if your good at a 50, doesnt necesarily mean your good at a 110.
They are different, different BP's and you just have to get used to it.
Yes, you can get mostly all the parts for a 50 for a 110.

To do motard tires you might wanna think about having to change out the front tire since its a funky 14" and a little tough to find street tires for. Lots of folks are putting on a KX60 rear wheel laced up front instead.
