hey...sometimes if it has not been inspected yet, the state of Nh has to send someone out to look at it, if it hasn't already been re-issued a new title. I'm not sure exactly the different terms, but there are 3 types of titles. The first is just your regular title, second is a title that the bike has been wrecked, but is all set to reg, and third the bike is toast. Most of the bikes argo's sells are the second or first one, there pretty good about that, but the third i think someone from the state of nh would have to pass it b4 they would issue a title for it. Kinda like a homemade bike. Hope this helps!

Salvage Rebuildable Title: Can be registered in every state. Some states require an inspection from the DMV in order to have the title changed to a rebuilt title.
Rebuilt Title: Was a Rebuildable title that needed an inspection to be able to be registered and has since gone thought and passed it’s inspection from the DMV. Can be registered in every state.
Parts only, Bill of sale: Export only or parts only bikes.
this is from argo's site, http://argocycles.com
That is the way they sell their bikes. maybee that helps a little more!

nope. not my buddies. but it is worth a little extra to me to see what i am getting before i buy it. plus its nice that its 40 min down the road. But i do agree with you.... there web prices are a little on the steep side.

Re: Salvage titles
argos blows even teach will tell you that..... prices on bikes suck but the parts can be cheap.... check the want ads.... best place to find a nice bike for a low price... if its at argos its been stunted and wrecked.... i would never pay over 4 grand for a bike like that

Re: Salvage titles
True...I live 5 minutes down the road from them. Walked in one day to look at the bikes....they are all trashed. Probably fine for a crunchy piece, but the sales guy wanted 5 grand for bikes that are totalled. I don't think my minty 954 would fetch much more than 5 or 6k being three years old and over 10,000 miles. I've seen a ton on e-bay, mostly mint for about $5500. Argos sucks....sorry if I offend anyone on here, but the guy is a crook!

Re: Salvage titles
argo's is cool in my book, i baught my 04 f4i there, 4500 miles an with a referal from teach i got 1g off. only needed touch up work, new peg and for me to fiberglass the tail from some1 12vin it. u have to get two inspections, one to get the title an one for the sticker.
