Maddesthatter is a decent person
Hey all!

I live in Kent, WA I have a 2007 yamaha R6 royal blue. I ride pretty much all the time, and have always been fascinated with motorcycle stunting. I dont know much about it, I know they offer training schools in other states and they provide the bikes to learn on because I am not trying to drop my brand new bike lol. Anyhow I just wanna start off learning basic wheelies and what not. I researched power wheelies but my R6 when I put it in first and accelerate like I watched it doesnt seem to lift up off the ground at all, is the 600cc not enough to do so in a power wheelie? Anyhow Im looking to find more people to ride with and maybe buy a older bike to learn how to stunt on and start somewhere :/ Any help would be great guys.

-Jon.

Re: Hey all!

I'm not sure where to start with this but...

Don't power wheelie. There is no control there and you will eventually get hurt BAD. Clutching it up is more predictable. A 600 has plenty enough power and is light/nimble enough to stunt.

You are going to drop a bike A LOT when stunting it so either get a bike to beat on or take the fairings off your bike and get a cage.

As far as the wheelie schools. I don't know anything about them and you don't need them. I don't even know you but I can tell you that lesser men have learned to wheelie. Use the search function on this site to read and learn. AFTER you read as much as possible, then ask questions. Make sure your question has not been asked 100 times because chances are it has. There are sticky threads in the how to section that will help you on your way. Wear some gear, be safe, and have fun.
