Anybody in Ft. Laud know where to get some used or cheap tires. Back home I knew I guy that raced and he would sell us his take offs for $50 a set. Wheres the cheapest place to get a rear around here?

Also, if anybody is interested in selling a 900RR cage let me know.

 

Personally I would pass on race take-offs unless you know the track that they were used on was close to a 50/50 (left/right) track.. Many tracks will burn tires 10 times as much on one side of the tire causing a f*ckup inbalance in weight.

If you don't mind struggling to keep the bike tracking straight on one wheel or are going to use it for burnout practice and 2 wheel riding it's all good... For 1 wheel use.. I would go with a cheap set of NEW tires. I'm given a set of Maxxis (SP?) a try now, will let you know how they work if ya want.

 

I never had any problems riding take offs in the past, guess i was lucky. I got get a used rear D207 for $50 at a shop in Pompano. Still has at least 80% tread so it should last a good month or so. Good lookin out man
