A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday on Congress Avenue north of Gun Club Road, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said. Joan Perez, 21, of 16033 80th St. N. in Loxahatchee, died at the scene of the 4:51 a.m. crash. According to a sheriff's report, two motorcycles passed a slower-moving car on Congress when one struck the median, throwing Perez into a tree.
