Exclamation cycle riders Longwood raided

(found this on another site)

9 cop cars and three trucks pulled up to 'Cycle Riders of Longwood Florida' and raided the dealership at 3:15 yesterday.

Several employees were taken into custody for making copies of bike keys, and with home records, they were ripping bikes off.

The stolen bikes werent there.

The team captured 10 stolen bikes (2 busas) and a host of other stolen parts and a LOT of copied keys from other bikes for the Parts employee's (Mike) house.

The police are still looking for 4 others in the raid with 'arrest' on their minds.

If you've had you bike serviced there....LOCK IT UP.

Guys this is one of the MAIN dealerships here in Orlando.

If you've had a bike stolen...it might be from your own dealership.

Re: cycle riders Longwood raided

I once was hanging out at the Volvo dealer in FTL and just happen to see one of the service techs go searching through someones truck, as though he was looking for something. He didn't seem to find anything so I had nothing that I could tell anyone.
Can't trust anyone.

Yep.....one of the bikes recovered was mine,,,it was still in one piece also...the main guy involved was using it as a daily driver....he bought a legit frame out of New York and swapped frames and then had it titled in his name...the reason they could tell it was mine is because he didn't scratch the numbers on the engine!!!....they recovered a whole bunch,,,saw them all when I went to the Sheriffs office.....Its been a while and they still have not given it back to me yet....Oh well I bought a new R1 since then so I will probably turn the R6 into a race bike!!!!!

Wish they would have come and got mine when I had insurance. They probably drove by and saw it and kept driving

Re: cycle riders Longwood raided

Is it just me or do all motorcycle dealerships give you the feeling that they're doing you a favor just to let you in the door? They've kinda got a monopoly on the market. Where else can you go to get service? Another reason I love the net, buy what I need and do it myself. Screw dealers.
