Just wondering why do cops chase bikers, i been chased six time in three months and made one cop wreck. Any others ever experience the thrill of a good chase??????

I was a little confused on that part too??

I don't find the sense in running from the cops. If I was doing something wrong to begin with, then I need to take responsibility for my actions. Sure it seems a lot easier to run and not get stuck with hundreds of dollars in tickets or better yet, taken to jail but "what if" something happened to me and a car pulled out in front of me. My life is more important than that.

 

Exactly. I mean....I know people run and stuff but making anyone wreck, even a cop, just isn't cool.

 

Hey Crazy, if a cop has enought ***** to chase a bike, its his fault if he gets in a wreck, and to answer your question on if i feel proud, well no, but i feel good to go home and not to jail. Well let me tell one of my famous chases, I was going down University Dr. and a cop got on my azz for no reason, mabey becaus it was 3 o'clock in the morning. Any way i took off, and went through a red light , and was lucky, the cop tried to run it and was not so lucky. All i know is that 30 minutes later i was home drinking beer. the next day i heard that a cop was chasing a bike down University Dr. and T-Boned some lady. "Sunrise Police Department" suspended the cop........ So im not bragging, all im saying is that those cops know what could happend when they chase bikes, Also in the acadamy they tell cops not to chase bikes, so the ones that do persue must have something against sport bike riders.

 

Sorry...I still don't really get it. If he got on your *** for "no reason" as you say....then you weren't doing anything wrong so why run in the first place?

I think you were being stupid (sorry it sounds so harsh) but running a red light where you could've been killed....and then having a cop run a red light where any number of people could've been killed is just pointless imo.

I Totally Agree. Not To Be A Jerk, But People Who Ride Like You Are The Reason Cops Give Sport Bike Riders So Much Trouble. If You Didn't Do Anything Wrong Why Would You Fear Going To Jail, Unless You Had Warrants Or Were Drunk. In Which Case You Did Do Something Wrong. I Don't Like Cops Any More Than You Do And I Agree That Cops Are Not Supposed To Chase Or Hassle Bikers; But Your Overlooking The Most Important Thing Here. What About The Lady The Cop Hit. Was She Hurt, Was She Unable To Work While In The Hospital, Who's Going To Take Care Of Her Kids If She Was Killed. Look At The Big Picture. Im Not Putting Myself On The High Horse Becuase I Used To Be The Same Way, And Then I Grew Up. Take Some Advise From Someone Whos Been There. Yo Rob, Ifeel what you are saying, but you know how cops are here in Broward. Im 25, and been locked up for stupid reasons, I pulled over for a cop, and forgot i had a failure to appear warrent. Last time i stoped was actually in Coral Springs, i got pushed onto the ground, bike kicked over, put in a head lock, then took to jail. So at this point i don't trust cops. I'll never stop again for one.

 

I FEEL YA. I'VE BEEN BUSTED BY SPRINGS TOO. I DON'T CARE FOR THERE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND THE ACCOMODATIONS TERRIBLE . JUST TRY TO RIDE AS SAFE AS YOU CAN. IF YOU GOTTA RUN A RED TRY TO MAKE SURE YOUR NOT GONNA PUT ANYONE ELSE IN HARMS WAY. COPS ARE DICKS AND I PERSONALLY DON'T CARE FOR THERE DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO BULLSHIT (SPEEDING ECT.) what ever happend to the girl the cop hit. thats not billys fault, the cop should have looked, the girl should have bin paying attention, cops are trained. if it was billys fault, then why was the cop suspened. "F.T.P." if my gas light isnt flashing im gone **** on them, on the same note it depends on the situation i have no warrents so if i was being fallowed and didnt do anything i would pull over, but if i pass a cop going like 260km "im from canada" there is no way im gonna stop i need my linces for my job and yeh i no i should not be going that fast "but i just cant help it"

I'm not sure what your point was to posting this topic but as you can tell, you're not gonna get much support. Most cops are bad enough as it is and then you throw a bike/biker into the situation, not very many cops in South Florida like bikes, especially sportbikes for some strange reason. We all love riding as much as you do and we'd like to keep it that way. In my opinion, running from the cops is only going to get me hurt or killed, or even worse, hurt or kill someone else, I would NEVER be able to live with that in my conscience. Would you?!

 

YEAH, IVE BEEN TO HOOTERS ONCE (LAST NIGHT), AND WILL PROBABLY CHECK OUT FUDDS ON FRI. I WANT TO CHECK OUT AS MUCH OF THE LOCAL SCENE AS I CAN. I WANT TO FIND SOME COOL PEOPLE TO RIDE WITH.

Ok, Princess Judge Judy, im a hard core, die hard rider and do it very well. Its not my fault that you cant ride that good and would probably get caught if you tried to run, so don't hate on the people that run. And then you say im not getting much support, well im not really looking for support from a no skill having, girl rider like you. I'm a grown azz man and do grown azz sh-t. Theres plenty of people that dip from the po-po, and it's been that way for a long time,espeacilly in South Florida. ...................Question? What store do ya'll buy that haterade from, and pass it around like blunt's.
