Just a litte FYI. Many of may know the headaches I had with my fixxer 1000. Since I bought the 1000 a few months back all I've done is spend $ on it fixing it and making myself broke. I thought I would save some $ by buying a used 01 instead of new. After totaling the cash I've spent on non maitenance items and the price of the bike I'm in over 10g's. I could have bought a brand new bike! I'll buy another one in 3 or 4 months when I've saved some loot. I've met a lot of great peeps thru riding to the local spots. I'll pop in for a visit now and then. Keep in touch with me, ok?

Congrats on gettin rid of the money pit. How much did you get for it? Take the $$$ and put it down for another one. 3-4 months you're gonna be a full flegded mental case, you're already at 80% of mental.

I almost bought a Yamaha in the beginning but the 600 was a little smaller than the gsxr and it didnt have the dampner. I dont think I can get a hold of an 04 r1. They have taken so many orders for them it may be awhile before we see a lot of them on the road.

 

I could told you that bike was garbage before you bought it.
