Talking Movin to FL

Hey guys.
I'm going to be moving to Orlando for college in about 10 months. I'm planning on bringing a bike with me, probably an RR.
Just wondering how many stunt spots there are around the area. Also how far is it from Ft. Laud, miami, daytona?
Was gonna go to Cali, but the stunt scene and bikes are alot more popular down in FL is seems.
Thanks.

Orlando is about 3-4 hours from Ft. Lauderdale, depending on fast you drive.

I don't really have a choice. I think I'm gonna be living at one of the dorms. I'm bringing the 954 in my room though. Is there anywhere close (within like 10 minutes) that would be better?

Thanks.

The college is only for cars, motorcycles, pwc's, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles... etc.
Nothing else, no biology or english or any of that ****. 2 Year technical school and then you specialize for Porsche, BMW, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha etc.

Hey Hazencvb, I'm going to MMI in august. I heard it's a bad *** school. Oh yeah, on thursday nights in orlando most bikes head to steak and shake and from there they go down to Presidents Drive until about 11pm till the cops show up..... everyone just chills and stunts and stuff. It's just a long strip of road inbetween some buildings. It's a lot of fun. When you come down here you should definately check it out!

There are ALOT of riders in the Tampa area.

Tampa's about an hour 1/2 from Orlando.

About 45 minutes from Lakeland.

A group of us rode out to Orlando last Saturday just for something different.
Let us know when you get here.

DLish,

I just heard you moved down here somewhere...WHAT'S UP????

Chickly,

I have a buddy that just graduated from MMI last July.
He said it was pretty cool, he doubled up on his classes and got out early.

Good luck with the move and don't make a mistake like my buddy did...he moved back home after graduation! FLORIDA'S WHERE IT'S AT!!!!!!

Let us know when you get here too.

make sure you always lock your bike and or keep it indoors. you might have a problem with the dorm allowing you to keep the bike in your apt. because it is a gas engine. i use to live up there (went to mmi) and my apt. complex would not allow me to keep my cr 125 inside because it contained gas( gas engine). the thieves down here are worse then VT. ( I promise)
