Moving to FL soon! big favor to ask

Hey guys/girls
I'm moving down to FL in september to either the tampa or ft. lauderdale area, not sure which yet, but I was just wondering if anyone from one of these areas would want to send me a real estate classsifieds booklet if you see one laying at a gas station next to any of those classified pamphlets somewhere? I can pay you for shipping cost what ever that may be....
Can someone help me out?

Or does anyone know any place down that thats fairly cheap but not ghetto? I'm moving down with a roommate and looking to buy but would also consider to rent. looking for a two bed, 1 bath home prefferably but would also take a condo if the price is right.

Thanks
Eric

Well thats convinient! You got anything decent in the 60K range thats a 2 bed 1 bath? I'd really like somehting with a garage but I've noticed hardly anything in FL has a damn garage unless its in the 150K plus range...
Or if you have any condo's that are 2 bed 1 bath that have a garage with them that would work too, or maybe if they are 1st floor and we can pull the bikes in the front room or something....
I'd much rather live in Ft. Laud but I'll be staying with some relatives that live in Tampa for a week or so pretty soon, I'll definately be making the drive over to the other side (ft. laud/miami) to check some **** out though. Do you offer special discounts for Stuntlife members?

Clearwater is over by Dunedin right? My aunt and uncle used to live there but they moved up to Hudson. I'd really like to live over on the east side but it all depends on what I can find and what kind of money its going to cost.
What are the ups and downs of both areas, being St. Petersburg and surrounding cities vs. the south east costal area? Any info would be greatly appriciated!

Personally, I like Ft. Lauderdale. You have more of a variety. Traffic is not as bad as Miami, plus there are some nice hangouts, and places to go.

I lived in Lauderdale all of last year, and I've visited Tampa/Orlando.....south florida wins but not by much.

I will say that Central Florida has better twisty/turny roads, if you like to drag a knee or two. South Florida is straight and flat, I had to search long and hard to find twisty roads and they were usually in some townhouse complex. And lots of freakin sprinklers getting the roads wet at night, not cool to come around a corner full lean and see water from a sprinkler!!!

I'm not too much into twisty's anymore after a friend biffed it on a clover doing about 75-80mph, nice straits are good wheelie territory so long as there's no traffic!
Sounds like the south-east part is the place to be I guess. I'll be coming down in about 3 weeks to check out some places and put in some applications for jobs down there. Anyone hiring?

I was planning on being a waiter down there at a nicer restaurant or something...I've been a waiter since I was 17 so I have nearly 4 years of experience. Hopefully I can get about the same job down there since I make around $80/night here, then I'd be pretty set since I'll have a room mate to split rent with. I'm open to any times of jobs that offer near the same pay though, tending to peoples every need gets old real fast.

I think Ft. Lauderdale/Miami is the best but that's cause I've lived here all my life! I'm sure you'd be happy with your decision to move this way. And I don't think finding a job will that hard for you! Good Luck and let us know when you'll be down here!

JONESER is a decent person
EAST SIDE!!!!!!!!!

I'm in Dunedin...

There are LOTS of riders here in the Clearwater/Tampa area and lots of places to ride.

Let me know when you get here in the Tampa area.

Clearwater is just south of Dunedin.
You can get a killer pad somewhere in that price range in Pasco County. That's just north of Pinellas. Their doing lots of development there and places are going cheap!
St.Pete area is EXPENSIVE! Dunedin is cheaper then Clearwater and I bet Tampa is high as hell too.

you will be happy anywhere from West Palm Beach to Ft. Luad - its all nice and lots to do...you have homestead raceway, Moroso up in Jupiter... you will be close to everything...

Rest industry is good and our season (winter) is really good! there are plenty of places in Ft.laud or WPB for ya!

maybe you should consider renting until you decide exactly where you want to live perm.
Some apt have garages too!!
