only highways no streets and forget about the tags and licences just the ride is enough to go to jail

 

we've talked with some cops down our way and they're saying that " we're mostly concerned with the people traveling in access of 20 mph over the limit .. cars or bikes .. thats our main concern , if they're ridin wheelies in controled under speed limits then theyd get reckless driving at most !!

 

and you are going to do that long of a ride with dented gas tanks and 60 plus gearing....

I will ride with my 60 tooth. I'll probly trailor it to the meeting spot, then ride out from there.

 

mines a 54 tooth , and it holds 2.6 gal ,, but no stoppies till its half gone (leaky leaky )

 

as long as somebodys gotta bike i can borrow im down main thing is not to let anymore info leak out than needed and ride should be money! this year at roc only a few people at the front of the pack knew the route and that kept the ride at a nice steady pace and made it easy for all the stunners to kill it and keep at the front of the pack, and it worked out great

as Apfire said, we need to set a date in stone. I mentioned Spring Break, but now I'm thinking that's too far in advance, we need something sooner! How about Halloween, it's a Friday, and soon enough where word won't spread too fast to local law enforcement to prepare for it!

 

They stopped 50 of us in the middle of downtown Tampa, blocked off 1 lane with officers directing traffic to run each and every one of us!! So don't think it can't happen bro!

OK, I'm pretty sure we're all interested in the ride, whether to get crazy or just to go and be apart of a huge bike meet! So, we need to figure out when and where. That's first on the list.

Being that Orlando seems(to me) to be the ideal meeting place, considering it's dead center(basically) Florida. We need some guys in O-Town to figure out where a whole bunch of bikes can fit, and contact that company(whether it be a resturaunt or something related to motorcycles) and let them know that we're planning a big meet. By giving them enough time, they might organize a sale or special on wings or some **** like that. This will also prevent the cops from coming in and breaking it all up, sending us all home early, for loitering. This part is very important

We also need someone who knows people in Redbull and Monster and other Sponsoring companies that are already involved in the sport and let them know. They'll be ready and waiting for something like this.

We need some promoters to go around to the local bike nights with flyers or something, maybe these flyers can be paid for by the business/resturaunt that we'll be meeting at in Orlando, so keep that in mind when you speak with them. It's a cheap advertising fee to bring in hundreds of people.

Again, as far as a date goes, I think halloween would be awesome, cause I'm sure we're all gonna party then anyways. But might be a little too soon to let everyone know and plan for it. Then again, it does start to get cooler in November and wouldn't want to have a freakishly cold day to ride in.

We also need a name.... and T-shirts, haha!

 

Once we get this stuff figured out we can make some different threads for each leg of highway that the riders will meet up on. such as... Southeast, South west and North. In those threads we can figure out different meeting places and times. Figuring all the beat in tanks will need to more frequently we need to figure out gas stations and meeting areas to accomidate them. This will give us breaks, to fuel up, drink up, and use restrooms and also to collect stragglers along the way. If we can organize specific locations and times, which would be simple, it would make this event so much better for EVERYONE.

 

Everyone should make a bulletin on Myspace/Facebook and post the link to this page. And on any other forums to get as many people aware as possible.

 

what about doing it around the time of stuntwars? you could get more riders from out of state too.
